The equipment we use has a specialized hose nozzle which is specifically designed to fit in pipes. The hoses typically use a pressure of around 35,000 psi, but in some cases can go all the way up to 60,000 psi. They are effective for pipes ranging from 1 ½ to 4 inches in diameter. 

Hydro-jetting is also a critical first step when it comes to pipe-lining. Many types of sewage pipes may need to be re-lined if they have become corroded. In order for a new lining to stick, the pipe must be washed clean of the residual debris coating the inside of the pipe. That is where hydro-jetting comes into play.
